The social integration of people with mental disorders is relevant in the world. Discrimination and stigmatization of people with mental health problems are the most significant problems in the field of mental health, struggle against them is one of the priorities of the world health organization and World Psychiatric Association.

In addition, held analysis of the effectiveness of the existing mechanisms of social assistance in the framework of the medical-social institutions for disabled persons with mental illness and provided recommendations to improve state policy in the sphere of social assistance to the disabled and the development of alternative approaches in providing assistance.
"However, the analysis carried out regional public hearings confirmed the low awareness of patients, their relatives and the entire society in the issues of the rights of citizens with mental health disorders," - Bakhyt Tumenova said.
In the framework of the round table were discussed the issues of competitiveness and relevance of social NGO consumers of their services, data compliance of NGO to the international standards, their funding etc.
