Today in Astana, Vice-Minister of Healthcare and Social Development of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova and the President of the Association of light industry enterprises of Kazakhstan Lybov Hudova signed a Memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of organization of production of clothes and shoes for people with disabilities, including children with disabilities. Sewing clothes and making shoes for people with disabilities will be made with regard to their functional capabilities and needs.
Due to the fact that today in Kazakhstan there is no production of clothing for people with disabilities this project is relevant.
The event included a show of clothing and footwear "Clothing and Adaptive Shoes" which were manufactured and designed according to functionality and needs of persons with disabilities.
Currently the Republic has about 651, 9 thousand people with disabilities.
