Advisory Council for labor, migration and social protection of population will take place in St. Petersburg on November 17


This will be the 30th anniversary meeting of the States-participants of UIS.

The work of the Council will be attended by the Minister of labor and social protection of population Tamara Duisenova.

Heads and experts of relevant ministries and departments of the States-participants of UIS countries will discuss current issues of socio-labor sphere and migration.

The main tasks of the Advisory Board are to promote the formation of a coherent policy and measures for its implementation in the field of labor relations and social partnership.

On the proposal of the Russian side, which is chairing the UIS this year, the meeting agenda included the issues regarding implementation of the measures of family and demographic policies in the UIS, social protection of family, women and children.

The meeting participants will discuss the results of cooperation of States – participants of UIS in the socio-labor sphere and tasks for the future.

In addition, issues of implementation of the Strategy of economic development of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the period till 2020 and the Priority actions in this direction for years 2017-2020.

The Council scheduled a working meeting of Minister of labor and social protection of population of Kazakhstan Tamara Duissenova, with the head of the Ministry of labor of Russia Maxim Topilin. During the meeting it is planned the signing of the Memorandum of intent on cooperation with the Ministry of labor and social protection of population and Ministry of labor and social protection of the Russian Federation in the social and labor sphere.
