A roundtable was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic: “International Review of Labor Laws in the countries that are in the top ten of the GCI WEF rating and on recommendations for reforming the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, large enterprises, trade union organizations, including the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, LLP Tengizchevroil, JSC NC Kazmunaygas, LLP Corporation Kazakhmys, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan , Confederation of Labor of Kazakhstan.
The roundtable was held according to the results of an analytical study on the theme "Improvement of labor legislation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" in terms of hiring and dismissing employees; partnerships between employers and employees; flexibility in setting wages; application of mixed liability of the parties in the investigation of an accident related to labor activity.
Research on this topic is very relevant in the light of improving the competitiveness of the Republic of Kazakhstan through improving labor legislation and introducing into its practical implementation modern approaches and reforms based on the successful experience of the most competitive countries.
